Is TAXI a Rip-0ff?
Is your music best served by spending $350 a year on an evaluation service?

We have mixed feelings about TAXI. On the good side, they are a successful company and there are benefits to membership, like the TAXI Road Rally . You could pay far more than TAXI’s annual fee of $350 just to go to SXSW and not get quality professional critiques of your music.
On the down side, we do not personally know of anyone who will say they got a major label deal or placement through TAXI. That does not mean that no one has. But if there are more than a few, the Taxi website is very quite about it. And there is more on this controversial company you should know before you join.
